Yeah, and we thought Protestants were bad -- of course they are -- with their own blasphemy against Our Lady.

But Mormons believe Jesus had multiple wives! Insane.

With all due respect to the Protestants, they "merely" blaspheme that Mary was a "normal wife". It's taking away what is rightfully hers, yes. It's false, yes. It's blasphemy, yes. But USUALLY being a normal wife is not the worst thing you can call someone, know what I mean? And I'm pretty sure most protestants believe Jesus was a celibate prophet and God.

Yes, the Protestants are in error and have taken MANY wrong turns over the centuries and decades, after they left the One True Church. But the Mormons are LITERALLY on another planet!

Like I said, Mormons aren't even CHRISTIAN (which today translates to: Protestant) because you can't believe what the Mormons believe and consider yourself ANY VESTIGE of a follower of Christ/the Bible. They are pagan maybe; but not protestant.

They model after him because he was a master deceiver that had a lot of power which ensured that all of his carnal desires were satisfied.

Just like Mohammad, Luther, and countless other false prophets. Many wise man have pointed out, heresy SO OFTEN, or ALMOST ALWAYS come back around to "sixth and ninth".

In other words, all the complex heresy they come up with, all the trouble of starting a new religion, all the protesting, all the posturing, usually boils down to "I want to satisfy my basest carnal desires".

That's also true of many neo-Pagans of today. Many evolutionists, many who believe in Scientism (science turned into a religion), etc.

Does anyone really think young adult tradcats will believe this work of blasphemous fiction?

What do you mean?

That any significant number of Trads would "fall for" Mormonism and become Mormons? I doubt it.

Are you saying this isn't what the Mormons believe? Wrong. It's exactly what they believe.

We have to "know this stuff" as I put it, because we might encounter Mormons and we need to know just how far off in left field they actually are. You know, if one of your loved ones were tempted to get married to one -- or become good friends with one. It's stuff we need to know. If there is a danger, we need to know it. My point in all this is: Mormons are NOT mere harmless protestants.

Yeah, and here in VT, we have the distinct "honor" of having his Birthplace Memorial:

Joseph Smith Birthplace (churchofjesuschrist.org)
