    • What are the best strategies dealing with a self-proclaimed Deist that says the following in response to the question, "Would you ever think about becoming Catholic?":

    All I have to do is be able to believe in it and have faith without a doubt. I am not going to call myself a Catholic if I have doubts in big ways.


    Note: I am not the one engaging in this conversation, however, the person that is has asked for help. I have copy of the book Apologetics by Msgr. Glenn - I was wondering if there are any other online sources that pertain to the question of deism, etc.

    •   God of deists is a nasty one, like an animal or an abusive parent. One who just creates people and then leaves them to themselves. Well maybe create some food and water too (as he does to animals). Or maybe give just brains and hearts and guides to make people contend over what is really right. Everyone's brain/heart tells him sth different from other men's.
      Like an abuse father who just beggets and sends money. Like a dirty polygamist Sheikh.
    Ours is a God who gives up himself, smiles, embraces, weeps at His children's sorrows and never leave them alone. The one who gives them a unified Law.
