Thank-you for bringing this up. I also sell organic fruits and vegetables at local farmer markets. The above is plain and simple communism. For example, Monsanto has already made it against the law to use indigenous  seeds in Iraq, Afghanistan and India among many others, confiscating the proceeds from such crops with help from local governmental goon squads.

The issue of food safety is a straw man created under the auspices of Cargill and Monsanto to take away our last bit of freedom. This nonsensical garbage of e-coli contaminated tomatoes etc  has no iota of truth behind it. When they control the food supply, may God help us. In Canada they're proceeding along the same lines as Obama's Food Safety Act but ultimately the drive to control food and associated seeds is a defining effort of the UN's Codex Alimentarius.

This is worse than Stalin/Lenin's Russia or Nero's Rome. May we pray for the intercession of Our Lady's Immaculate Heart to stop this freemasonic conspiracy against mankind and whats left of the Catholic Church.
