  • When I look around, I see countless people rushing around in the day to day
rat race. Rushing through the fast food line for a quick burger. Biting their
nails while standing in line at the shopping center with a look on their face
as though they are going to explode if the cashier doesn't hurry up and
break a new Guiness world record for the fastest register ringer in the world!!!

I wonder how many people out there rush through life like this? How many of
these same people hear about a local or national disaster and click "delete",
move on to the next email or change the television channel? What would happen
if these kinds of people took each day a little bit slower. Stopped to smell
the roses for a change? What if these people had a new belief system? It's
possible. If you or someone you know fit's the description I've pointed out in
this message, give them a call or drop them a personal email. Let them know
that their own belief system's and actions as well as "lack of" actions mold
    and shape this world.

I have watched how the news media and radio have been working overtime
trying to place a people who take a stand and/or speak out against "anything"
into one big negative category. Calling people "conspiracy theorists" and
following that up with a personal attack on his/her character.

I called into a local radio station last week and had to tell the person
screening the calls for the host that I was calling in support of what the radio
host was speaking about "terrorism" and freedom of speech. I couldn't help
but notice that all 4 callers before me all had the same belief system and were
in total agreement with the radio host. So, I pretended to have those same
beliefs. When I was allowed my 15 seconds of fame, I stated my "REAL" opinion
on the matter and was immediately disconnected (hmmmm...must be those darn
    cell phone towers) yeah..riiiiiigggghh hht.

Double standards are everywhere we go now. Before the Bush administration,
there were poor people, middle-class people, lower middle class people and
wealthy people. Now, you are either dirt poor, very wealthy or Dead. Some food
    for thought.

This message is not intended to bash Bush or his
administration. ..yet...simply to encourage people everywhere to "take action"....voice your
    opinion...ask effective questions.

When you hear about a police officer who planted drugs in the vehicle of an
innocent person because that person spoke out against "corruption" in his/her
community... well..then ask questions about it in your community. You don't
even have to give your name and you can block your number when you call the
paper, news or police station. Let those who do wrong know that "someone is
watching" like Walmart...theft has reduced by 60% in the last 5 years due to the
"eyes of heaven" camera and security systems in Walmart worldwide and that is
a cause set to motion that happened by someone who had stock in Walmart
caring enough to ask an effective question..i. e. "what could we do today in order
to slow down or stop all these thefts"? That person obviously cared about
Walmart. What would happen if we all cared about the future of this country
and our children as much as that person cared about stopping theft?

You can't just "talk the talk", you have to walk the walk. More people need
to simply "CARE" and to back up convictions with action.
