Eh, the role of the military to 'just' defend is debatable, but still, even when defending, the military does that by bombing and killing. That's the point I was trying to make.
According to the official U.S. Department of Defense website at
https://www.defense.gov/About/ we are informed in one sentence what the mission of the Department of Defense is: "The mission of the Department of Defense is to provide the military forces needed to deter war and to protect the security of our country." Sounds pretty nice doesn't it? I guess the tooth fairy and Mother Goose stories sound pretty nice too. I would argue that the real mission of the Department of Defense is to provide the military forces needed to make war (not bad in and of itself) and to jeapordize the security of our country."
The truth of the matter is that the mission of the Department of Defense is to plan, execute, and enforce the Jєω/nєω ωσrℓ∂ σr∂єr. In doing this it makes perpetual war for supposed perpetual peace, a blatant contradiction in terms if there ever was one. The wars it pushes are based on lies and demonically inspired and the peace they achieve, if you can call it that, is the peace of Satan, not that of Christ. In the process of doing all this, countless human beings are killed and maimed in vain, but even more importantly countless souls are lost to hell for all eternity.
If anyone wishes to come onto this thread and argue (substantively and not sarcastically) for the bright side of the U.S. Military be my guest. I would just ask that you present the case for what you believe the U.S. Military actually is and not merely what you hope it is or what you hope it would be.
