  • Credit unions are basically member owned banks; they operate on a distributist model rather than the baldly usurious one that the Rothschilds and their tribesmen have bled the world dry through.

Yes, there are Catholic credit unions - in my area there is Oceanside Christopher. Do a search online to find out what Catholic credit unions are in your area.

I remember st John Neumann established some kind of banking to help the poor.
    Is it still in existence?
May God bless you and keep you

  • Credit unions are banks where the accounts holders are the owners of the institution rather than shareholders.  Credit unions often advertise more favorable interest rates and lower fees.  The downside to credit unions is that they are often very small and only have a few offices.

In my experience, there are little to no differences for an average account holder when comparing a credit union to a small or medium-sized bank.  There can be big differences, however, when you compare them to the large banks.

  • This link will give you some idea of the various groups which can unite to form a credit union: http://www.customerownedbanking.asn.au/search-our-member-directory/credit-unions/nodes  Of this list I have been or am a member of three. We try to stay away as much as possible from big banks.

There are many Catholic Credit Unions. Just do a web search.

  • Of course you also have this type of Catholic banking, which uses the savings and investments of members to finance diocesan works: http://www.dif.org.au/

  • Don't want to change the subject but I can't help but ask why do adults need to show off their dental braces? Is this some new fashion statement?
