The numbers CERTAINLY do not justify the current panic about "all the positive cases" -- obviously those people are recovered, or those antibodies are from the common cold or something. Because people just AREN'T getting deadly sick, much less dying, from this nothingburger.

Good stuff Matthew, but you need to fix the link, so anyone can read it. It comes out as a spreadsheet that can't be opened. Maybe there's an article that goes with it?

THAT'S when Texas Governor Abbott panicked and declared masks to be mandatory across the state of Texas.

In many other Republican-led states, masks still aren't mandatory, and/or they are opening up. Any "surge" in Texas is being caused by A) antibody testing, which tracks PAST-TENSE infections of ALL coronaviruses, not just COVID-19 and B) Mexicans coming across the border when they get sick, because their health care is 3rd world pathetic and USA kicks @$$ in health care as in many other things.

Why can't Abbott attack the real problem? Why screw around with silly masks which EVERYONE (especially health care professionals) KNOWS DOESN'T WORK? It's a psy-op. And Abbott is part of it.

Guess what? That's two strikes for that clown. (I can't remember the exact specifics of the first one, but I think it was also COVID related). I'm voting for the other guy whenever Abbott comes up for re-election. And yes, even if that means voting for a democrat. You literally couldn't get a worse governor than this clown! Any democrat couldn't be worse, and heck, he might be better!
