One of Israel’s chief rabbis called black people “monkeys” during his weekly sermon.
Rabbi Yitzhak Yosef’s comments were denounced as ”racially charged” and “utterly unacceptable” by the Anti-Defamation League, a New York City-based organisation devoted to battling anti-Semitism and racism.
During his weekly sermon, the rabbi used a derogatory Hebrew term for a black person, before going on to call a black person a “monkey,” according to footage published by the Ynet news site.

His office said he was citing a passage from the тαℓмυd - the book of Jєωιѕн law.
Mr Yosef represents Israel’s Sephardic Jєωs of Middle Eastern and North African descent.
He has previously courted controversy for suggesting secular women behave like animals because they dress immodestly

• I remember about 2 years ago a Jєωιѕн Official in Israel was quoted saying that 'Israel is for the White Man', and there
was no protest from the world controlled Jєωιѕн  news media and press.
The Black Jєωs from Ethiopia and Sudan are currently being expelled from Israel.
Evidently, multiculturalism and mass immigration  is only meant for the gentile nations, in which the Jєωιѕн Zionists
are promoting and involved in.

Orthodox Jєωs, the only form of Judaism that Israel considers real, has never considered blacks as human. Heard it from a former Orthodox Jєω who lived in Brooklyn.

That Jєω calling black people "monkeys" is the least of his problems. You should realize that he needs to repent of his Antichrist religion, and convert to the Catholic Faith.

This failure to recognize that imperative fact, while you dwell on the academic, says a lot about you, Pochey Pooooo.

• Calling blacks "monkeys" was probably very common before Marxists came along and popularised their infantile notions of racial equality after WWII.   Negroes are a cursed race, after all.

• Anthony, you have it wrong. No man is cursed because of his colour. A black or a white could be cursed if he rejects salvation as the Jєωs do, but not because of his colour or race or nationality. Whether a Jєω is  white, black, yellow or brown, he is cursed by his rejection of Jesus Christ.

[11] Where there is neither Gentile nor Jєω, circuмcision nor uncircuмcision, Barbarian nor Scythian, bond nor free. But Christ is all, and in all.

However the Jєωs have been cursed when they took on themselves the blood of Jesus Christ. They can be free of the curse when they accept baptism and embrace the Life of Christ.

[24] And Pilate seeing that he prevailed nothing, but that rather a tumult was made; taking water washed his hands before the people, saying: I am innocent of the blood of this just man; look you to it. [25] And the whole people answering, said: His blood be upon us and our children.

Help of Christians, guard our land from assault or inward stain,
Let it be what God has planned, His new Eden where You reign.

Nadir, I agree.  In Hawai'i one can clearly see the merits of each race and the limitations.  No one is in the majority.  There are it seems very few if any real demons; I haven't met any but I have seen people here out of their minds through 'substance abuse' and on the streets.  The majority... are white.  Something about coming here without a plan or a job.... There was a time when I had an interest in what is known as 'preservation of the white race' etc. and spent time with people online who pursued that end not the extremists but those who are deluded enough to think that race is a bottom line.  Now, I feel sorry for these people and realize it is partly a function of too much time on line an overly intellectual approach to life and no thought of death.

It absolutely is not the bottom line of life and I love any kind of reconciliation; it happens on a daily basis with ordinary interactions.  Here, we don't have the delusions and agendas quite so virulent as on the mainland in fact, I don't think we have them at all.  There simply is no comparison between what I saw on the mainland from afar during the 2016 election, and here.

Those who are creating the agendas about race and gender don't act in Hawai'i; they are bored here and don't bother, plus cannot get a foothold it seems.  What works on the mainland doesn't work here.   People are not THAT materialistic here, I guess.  The kind of materialism that a certain kind of Jєω seems to have as  part of their nature is exactly the same kind of materialism that refused to accept Christ - let's pray we can see clearly enough to find our own blindness and make it more and more acute until it is the only thing we want, the cross that purifies our own heart.

• The Church allows different interpretations of the curse of Ham (Canaan). St. Ephraem the Syrian, Pope Pius IX, and Fr. James L. Meagher, D.D taught that the curse applies to blacks. You have a Doctor of the Church, a Doctor of Divinity, and a Pope who thought the curse did apply to blacks.

Though I discovered in researching the question that Pope Pius IX sent mixed signals on the subject.

• [18]And the sons of Noe who came out of the ark, were Sem, Cham, and Japheth: and Cham is the father of Chanaan. [19] These three are the sons of Noe: and from these was all mankind spread over the whole earth. [20] And Noe, a husbandman, began to till the ground, and planted a vineyard.
[21] And drinking of the wine was made drunk, and was uncovered in his tent. [22]Which when Cham the father of Chanaan had seen, to wit, that his father's nakedness was uncovered, he told it to his two brethren without. [23] But Sem and Japheth put a cloak upon their shoulders, and going backward, covered the nakedness of their father: and their faces were turned away, and they saw not their father's nakedness. [24] And Noe awaking from the wine, when he had learned what his younger son had done to him, [25] He said: Cursed be Chanaan, a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren. [26] And he said: Blessed be the Lord God of Sem, be Chanaan his servant. [27]May God enlarge Japheth, and may he dwell in the tents of Sem, and Chanaan be his servant. [28] And Noe lived after the flood three hundred and fifty years: [29]And all his days were in the whole nine hundred and fifty years: and he died.
Note from the DRBO:

Quote
25] "Cursed be Chanaan": The curses, as well as the blessings, of the patriarchs, were prophetical: And this in particular is here recorded by Moses, for the children of Israel, who were to possess the land of Chanaan. But why should Chanaan be cursed for his father's faults? The Hebrews answer, that he being then a boy, was the first that saw his grandfather's nakedness, and told his father Cham of it; and joined with him in laughing at it: which drew upon him, rather than upon the rest of the children of Cham, this prophetical curse.

The note from the DRBO makes it quite clear that the curse does not pertain to the colour of the skin, (which is not mentioned and has no relevance) but with the fact that Cham did not honour his father, as Sem and Japheth had done, but rather dishonoured him. Just as we suffer as the result of the sin of Adam and Eve, Chaanan suffered for the sin of Cham.

• Yes Nadir, I've read all the quotes about the curse. It remains the case that to view blacks as having the curse of Ham isn't an excommunicatable position, otherwise the Church would have to excommunicate a Doctor of Divinity, a Pope, and a Doctor of the Church.

Michael Hoffman speculates that the reason some Catholics of past centuries thought the curse of Ham applied to blacks was due to тαℓмυdic influence.

• Nevertheless, it seems to me not a rational assumption because it presumes that slavery and servitude is the preserve of black-skinned persons. I can understand why Americans would think that way from their history.

Can you quote these three, Rum?

• Father Meagher, from How Christ Said the First Mass.

Anne Catherine Emmerich's Life of Jesus Christ.

There's suspicion that some of Emmerich's writings come from Brentano, so I don't consider her a reliable source, but she is notable.

St. Ephraem the Syrian

Pope Pius IX

My view on the curse is only that the Church allows this interpretation.

• All very doubtful as quotes to justify a ridiculous supposition.

To quote your "good" self:

Quote
In 1864 the Congregation of the Index condemned his letter as containing many errors, including that blacks have the curse of Ham (Canaan). It was demanded that he revise the pastoral letter and remove the bad bits. Now the odd thing is that this condemnation was approved by Pope Pius IX.
Then to justify your denial that this belief has not been condemned, albeit by the approval of Pope Pius IX of the ruling of the Congregation of the Index, you go on to quote some "indulgenced prayer" which says

Quote
So Pope Pius IX ... in 1873 attaches an indulgence to a prayer for the "wretched Ethiopians in Central Africa that almighty God may at length remove the curse of Cham [Ham] from their hearts."

Which signature has the greatest weight, especially of a prayer that talks of the Ethiopians of Central Africa, when a person with a slight knowledge of geography knows that Ethiopians hail from the far north of Africa. Nor does it mention blackness.

Your campaign to prove blacks cursed makes me think you are some sort of a troll to smear the good name of CathInfo.

• Did you miss this part?

"My view on the curse is only that the Church allows this interpretation." Do you dispute this?

I don't deny that this teaching has been condemned by the Congregation of the Index in 1864. I'm the one that added this discovery to the curse of Ham thread. You act as if this is news to the person who brought it to your attention. As for conflating Ethiopian, a particular black people, with all blacks, you have a point. But that's only in the Pope Pius IX example. But it begs another question, and that is that Pope Pius IX is saying that Ethiopian's have the curse, unless he's using "Ethiopian" in a 19th-century usage unknown to me. Perhaps someone could chime in on that question.

I'm not campaigning to prove that the curse of Ham applies to blacks. I don't know that it does apply to them, but I know Fr. Meagher was never punished for stating as much. His book "How Christ said the First Mass" must have received an imprimatur. Pope Leo XIII conferred on him Doctor of Divinity. And St. Ephraem the Syrian was made a Doctor of the Church in 1920, long after the Congregation of the Index condemned Bishop Auguste Martin's letter.

As for my being a troll to make Cathinfo look bad, Matthew took part on the curse of Ham thread, if only momentarily, though I don't know what he thinks about the curse of Ham. If you have a problem with any of my posts you should report them.
