  • Just checking in on dogmatic Sedevacantism to see how it's going as a proper response to the Crises in the Church

    NICE wheels Pope Michael.....::)::)

Well... I guess the chair is not so "vacante" anymore. Habeamus Papam! ( I was getting worried there for a second)

He is safely protected in his throne by the iron clad roofing above.

  • They are taking too many souls down the (potentially) invalid Sacraments route for me to not care.
    It's time to fight back.

  • Oh and if anyone has such a problem with this (not necessarily you St. Anthony), there are plenty of sedevacantist web forums where they can go and pat each other on the back, in their own echo chamber.

  • Just checking in on dogmatic Sedevacantism to see how it's going as a proper response to the Crises in the Church

Just checking in how the Resistance is working out for ya ...

    1) Fr. Pfeiffer (one of the founding fathers) going +Thuc line, and not just any +Thuc line but Palmarian +Thuc line ... Pfeiffer remaining dogmatic anti-sedevacantist

    2) Fr. Pfeiffer and Hewko (the latter another founding father of the Resistance) promoting Ambrose Moran, his fake Orders, and the fakery of a priest allegedly "conditionally ordained" by Moran

    3) Fr. Pfeiffer showing up at +Williamson's door and engaging in one of the most childish and embarrassing exchanges I have ever heard about from grown men, mostly because +Williamson wouldn't consecrate Fr. Pfeiffer

    4) Fr. Pfeiffer declaring in a sermon that people who get angry while driving are committing solitary sins against purity (used the word)

    5) Fr. Voigt leaving due to many lies

    8) +Ballini haboring a man convicted by the Novus Ordo of predations

    9) Santeria cult at Pfeifferville, with seminarians being "ordained" with almost no training whatsoever

    10) Pablo engaging in cult practices, trying to put spells on people, performing lay exorcisms, stalking various female visitors, not being a practicing Catholic and yet being put in charge of seminarians at times ... and not stopped by Fr. Pfeiffer.

    13) conditional consecration of the sedevacantist (at least since Bergoglio) +Vigano

and this is just the first few years ... with undoubtedly many chapters yet to be written

  • Leave the deceased Bp. Williamson (and his GOOD NAME, which he has EVERY RIGHT TO) out of it.
Say a prayer for his soul instead of smearing his good name.

If Sedevacantism can be defended, then defend it. No need to attack other positions to make it "look good" by comparison.

Your whole post reduces to "But Fr. Pfieffer and Hewko!" and I'm completely in agreement on that. Those are a couple of very bad apples.

But bad apples are everywhere. It says NOTHING AT ALL about the goodness, wisdom, or veracity of the Recognize & Resist position.

It is literally an ad-hominem, instead of arguing the position itself.

Sure ... after you've let this scuм slander Archbishop Thuc's good name for days now, and done nothing to stop it, having allowed numerous posters viciously slander +Vigano, letting them accuse him of being (literally) a sun-worshipping Lucferian Mason, and done nothing to stop it, of slandering one public figure after another, and done nothing to stop it.

You know the difference?  All of those things cited about Bishop Williamson are plain simple well-known facts.  None of them is disputable.

Yet the slanders against +Thuc and +Vigano which you have done nothing to stop and let continue, forcing others to have to jump in to refute over and over again ... they're outright calumny and lies.

  • Sedevacantism -- going "nowhere fast" since 1970.

Sedevacantism. Adding nothing useful to the "base model" Traditional Movement since 1970. Solving no problems since 1970.
    etc.

Show me a "good fruit" from a sedevacantist chapel, and I'll show you a good fruit where "sedevacantism" per se had nothing to do with it.
All the good fruits and holiness at the various sedevacantist chapels are because they're good, Traditional independent chapels. Nothing good in them comes specifically from their sedevacantism. It's an unnecessary extra. It's an opinion that's been raised to the level of dogma by some. Insane.

One thing most sedevacantists get wrong -- if their position were so perfect, then 100% (not 99.9%) of good-willed Catholics with an IQ over 80 would have adopted it by now. But they haven't. Ergo.

Admit you don't have the answers either, keep your fallible private opinion where it belongs (to yourself), and maybe there can be less division within Tradition.

That's funny, because not a single person has reported anything to me in days. Usually I get moderator reports when there are actual, concrete issues on the forum (specific posts that need addressing).

  • The number of new accounts, who are not Trad (by any stretch) has grown in the past 6 months.  It's an infiltration.

    You forgot:

    - Pfeiffer and Hewko harboring, supporting, and encouraginging laity towards pervert and laicised priests (cordaro, tetherow, Roberts, and Ensy)

    - Pfeiffer lying to the laity that he cut ties with Moran, when he didn't.

    - Pfeiffer lying to the Australian laity that he needed to buy a house for his seminarians, when in reality it was for use of divorce' Blasak and her children, of which Hermandez had full reign.

    - Pfeiffer using donations (unbeknownst to the laity) to pay the attorney fees for Blazak to divorce her husband.
