I received our "catholic family news", and we decided no more subscribing. They sit on a fence. I do believe that Father Gruner owns it and John Vennari is editor. This issue had a full page of picture on the new pope. Had an article and picture of the new seminary, which was for and not questioning it's construction. I did like the article on "Agenda 21". But I question where Fr. Gruner is? For Pius X, and for the pope. Where does he claim to be? I don't want our money going to an org. that does not come right out and say where they be. We must choose where the true Church of Christ is especially when Pius the X is in the state that it is in. I don't know how others feel about this issue, but that is how we feel in our home.

Those looking for the book, "I Accuse the Council by Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre, is is for sale by Angelus Press on page 19 of the CFN. 85pp for $10.95.

I wonder if there is any revision? The ad takes up half the page.

The Catholic Family News has many great articles but like the SSPX it is
listed as a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center. John wrote an excellent letter about this situation as well. SPLC

I support both the Fatima Crusader and Catholic Family News. We
need to support those who support Catholic Tradition and they do! :rahrah:

Support to Catholic Family News should be history for those serious about the Resistance. This magazine refuses to speak out about the tragedy happening within the SSPX due to Menzingen's new conciliatory attitude.

I spoke to John about this time last year. He said it has always been the policy of the paper not to attack Traditional Catholic organizations, not the FSSP, Not Christ the King, not CMRI, not Popa Redemptorists, and of course, not the SSPX. He believes they all have issues and political battles of their own. Only when they "Officially" turn on tradition will he report.

I found this odd however. He had no problems giving play by plays with all of +Rifans shenanigans but he turns a deaf ear to the SSPX and the +Fellay sell out. I don't think he should take a stand either way..."Fare and Balanced?"...but I do believe he should report on the treacherous Doctrinal Counter Offer and the many contradictions of +Fellay over the past few years. He also has not mentioned any priests of the Resistance, even Fr. Hewko, who he has met personally, has not been mentioned in his publication. Any reporter who considers himself a real journalist of Catholic Tradition should be reporting this stuff.

Because he does NOT give a full picture of key events taking place in Catholic Tradition, I no longer feel his publication is worth my money. He clearly has a biased agenda. I can not trust he will give the full picture.

I had a subscription for years and loved it, however one time they dedicated an entire publication to attack sedevacantism, which is the same as attacking CMRI in my opinion. I wrote them and cancelled my subscription right then and there.
