I found this on Facebook -- a horrible translation interpretation of Holy Writ.

This version comes from a song "Proof of Your Love" by Christian band For King And Country. It's also the translation from The Message Bible.

Apparently there's an "interpretation" of Holy Scripture out there called "The Message Bible" which mangles God's word and sifts it through some backwoods Bubba. Might as well translate the Bible into Ebonics (which has been done!)

The Message is far, far, far too contemporary to be taken seriously. It is the New Testament, as translated by Chris Tomlin.

I would mock this version as "the version that you have to recite with a thick southern accent", "the redneck bible", or "Bubba's Bible"
