Active Thermitic Material Discovered in Dust from the 9/11 World Trade Center Catastrophe

We have discovered distinctive red/gray chips in all the samples we have studied of the dust produced by the destruction of the World Trade Center. Examination of four of these samples, collected from separate sites, is reported in this paper. These red/gray chips show marked similarities in all four samples. One sample was collected by a Manhattan resident about ten minutes after the collapse of the second WTC Tower, two the next day, and a fourth about a week later. The properties of these chips were analyzed using optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray energy dispersive spectroscopy (XEDS), and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The red material contains grains approximately 100 nm across which are largely iron oxide, while aluminum is contained in tiny plate-like structures. Separation of components using methyl ethyl ketone demonstrated that elemental aluminum is present. The iron oxide and aluminum are intimately mixed in the red material. When ignited in a DSC device the chips exhibit large but narrow exotherms occurring at approximately 430 °C, far below the normal ignition temperature for conventional thermite. Numerous iron-rich spheres are clearly observed in the residue following the ignition of these peculiar red/gray chips. The red portion of these chips is found to be an unreacted thermitic material and highly energetic.

How do we know that this material wasn't placed there by the terrorists themselves - to guarantee that the destruction of the World Trade Center?

I suppose I was hasty with my remark.  I just find it amazing, but mostly sad, that anyone buys the "terrorist" mumbo jumbo at this stage of the game.

Also, to place such a substance at such a location would require security access of such a level that it would STILL make it an inside job of sorts.  Btw, Bush's brother was involved in/owner of the company that controlled security for those buildings.  Just prior to the attacks, the security was down/altered significantly for an entire weekend.

Lastly, such an idea still fails to answer the question: What happened to bldg 7, and why did the BBC report its collapse more than 20 minutes BEFORE it collapsed?

Because the BBC misread into reports of the buildings imminent collapse and thinking they already have collapsed.

Thank you all! I do not consider myself sede -- I am not qualified to judge. But I sure am worried about what I am seeing and I am quite hesitant to embrace the group-think of AQ or the pollyannaism of the Remnant of late. I do not think the modernist Vatican has the best interest of traditionalists at heart and I do not believe that Benedict is a closet traditionalist just waiting to overturn Vatican II and restore the real Mass.

Just saying these things at AQ results in severe admonishment and very nasty private messages.
