  • Breaking News in the case of Bishop Richard Williamson

    FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

December 7, 2009 - The German State Prosecutor has excluded the
possibility of a pre-trial, out-of-court settlement in the case of Roman
Catholic Bishop Richard Williamson's alleged "h0Ɩ0cαųst denial"
statements which were filmed in Germany in 2008 and broadcast on Swedish
television earlier this year. A possible trial date is said to be
considered for late February or early March. The 28-year-old female
judge in the case desires Bishop Williamson to be personally present at
the trial, so that "he can explain what were his motives in saying what
he said on Swedish television." She "wishes to judge his answers in
    person."

Bishop Williamson, an English native, currently resides in London, after
being fired from his position as rector of his seminary in Argentina. He
was then expelled from the country by the government under pressure from
    Zionist groups.

  • I will though-heck, I am Belloc, no?

Will Britain extredite him to Germany for this farce???

and, was he truly "fired", or did Fellay ask him to step down and out of limelight??

Further, does anyone else here feel tremendously depressed that Germany has sunk this shamefully gutteral????

Williamson may want to find a non-extrediting nation.....oh, for a vacation....

Why did he get fired?  I met him six years ago.  He presided over a SSPX Mass in Waterloo, IA and did not appear to be mentally stable.  He seemed very agitated and angry, even as people addressed him as "Your Excellency..."

Seems kind of young to be a judge.

  •  This is horrible, but does not surprize me. There is no free speech if you say anything against the Jєωs - they throw you in jail in Europe. I am afraid the chances of Bp Williamson winnign this are slim to none.............

  • Bishop Williamson is a wonderful and holy Bishop.  I have met him on more than one occasion and he counseled my mother who was ill (he went privately to see her) and a Novus Ordo Catholic who was suspicious of the SSPX.  After he met with her she completely changed her mind.  The good Bishop even confirmed me!

Now, I wonder whether it might be advantageous to the society and the good Bishop if he were to allow himself to be martyred by the German courts.  Millions of Catholics will see the dog collar of a Bishop and see the injustice.  Not to mention the fact that it should be repugnant to most Catholics to see a Bishop before the civil courts.

  • It is depressing because we know of so many bishops who truly deserve to serve prison time.

He has been thinking something major is on the horizon for a few years ...now a 28-year-old woman judge, someone completely modern who has been indoctrinated with that peculiar German h0Ɩ0cαųst point of view her entire life.

    Does he speak German?

Wishful thinking, Jamie. The novus ordonarians will only be too happy to see a traditionalist in prison - it will only confirm how they preach that we are so 'hateful'.

I get your point but I was thinking more of those who have lapsed because they reject VII and its errors.
