Bishop Williamson is a wonderful and holy Bishop. I have met him on more than one occasion and he counseled my mother who was ill (he went privately to see her) and a Novus Ordo Catholic who was suspicious of the SSPX. After he met with her she completely changed her mind. The good Bishop even confirmed me!
Now, I wonder whether it might be advantageous to the society and the good Bishop if he were to allow himself to be martyred by the German courts. Millions of Catholics will see the dog collar of a Bishop and see the injustice. Not to mention the fact that it should be repugnant to most Catholics to see a Bishop before the civil courts.
Wishful thinking, Jamie. The novus ordonarians will only be too happy to see a traditionalist in prison - it will only confirm how they preach that we are so 'hateful'.
I get your point but I was thinking more of those who have lapsed because they reject VII and its errors.
