For a beginner, start with *Dr. Walt Brown — In the Beginning: Compelling Evidence for Creation and the Flood*
It's probably the best single-volume reference because it covers BOTH sides:
*Part I* — Quick overview of *131 categories of evidence* from biology, astronomy, earth science, and physics that support sudden Creation and argue against gradual evolution.
*Part II* — His *Hydroplate Theory* (35+ years of research) — explains the Grand Canyon, where comets/asteroids came from, frozen mammoths, where Flood water came from/went, mountain ranges, coal/oil, ocean trenches, etc.
*Part III* — 37 FAQ like radiocarbon dating accuracy, dinosaurs, genetic traces of Adam/Eve, global warming, is evolution compatible with the Bible?
