    Gentlemen,

As many of you know, on September 21st of this year there will be a public black mass said in the Oklahoma City Civic Center:

    http://newsok.com/catholic-archbishop-decries-plans-for-satanic-black-mass-in-oklahoma-city/article/4984602

Father Novak mentioned this in his sermon at the 12:30 Mass this Sunday.
Many of us heard about it before, and signed petitions to have it stopped, but it still has the green light.

I cannot stress how serious this is.
It is a PUBLIC desecration and blasphemy of the Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of God to gain favor with Satan.  I feel we have the duty to fight this with everything we have, even with our lives if need be, in order to prevent this kind of horrible sacrilege. To sit idly by and let this happen without doing something is tantamount to tacit approval, though I could be wrong.  There have been many Eucharistic martyrs who shed their blood to prevent the Sacred Species from suffering desecration...

Does anyone know if there is going to be an organized trip to OKC to protest?  This would be good to do.

Other better ways to fight it are to prevent it in the first place, legally and/or by putting so much pressure on the OKC civic center and Mayor's office that they abandon the idea altogether.  Contact info is below.

On the legal tack, can any of the lawyers on here look into legal action in this case?  Legal action, other than prayer, is probably the best means to stop this.

The very act of a black mass is abhorrent to not just Catholics, but even to people of no faith and as such, should legally be prevented to keep the peace at the very least, prevent insult to other religions, especially the Catholic one, which gets the brunt of the insult.

Could a lawsuit be brought against OKC and/or the satanic group there by Catholics based on the mockery the satanists make of the Catholic Mass, especially the Eucharist?  They have to get the Eucharist either by stealing it from a Catholic church, or a priest gone bad who has the ability to consecrate.
Maybe a court order to the group demanding to know the source of the consecrated host?

In the above article, it states: "Jim Brown, the Civic Center’s general manager, said he respects the archbishop’s stance, but the Civic Center is a public building and the city must abide by the First Amendment and allow it to be leased to any group that agrees to abide by all laws and city ordinances" (emphasis mine).

There HAS to be some Oklahoma, national or local law(s) on the books that a public black mass would violate, such as "profanity laws", causing a public disturbance etc..  There must be some legal loophole to prevent this. Oklahoma is a very conservative and "Christian" state, if we think of protestants as Christians.

Can anyone look into this?  It could be dynamite to stop this ludicrous atrocity, and also set a legal precedent to prevent further public black masses.

Any thoughts, ideas, legal advice etc. would be much appreciated.

For descriptions of what satanists do at black masses, search the web with extreme care.  I don't recommend it.
