Perhaps an inspiring and edifying story about a brave bishop who goes out on a limb and risks his career to suggest that "gαy marriage" is probably not an ideal expression of love, even though utmost care must be taken not to "unjustly discriminate" against "ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖ persons?"

Some one suggested that I should find some information and post along these lines, well here it is;

We cannot--we will not--comply with this unjust law," said Bishop Paul S. Loverde regarding the contraception mandate in Obamacare that tramples on the religious freedom of millions of Americans.

The letter was composed jointly by Bishop Loverde and Bishop Francis X DiLorenzo and has been reported by CNSNews.

At issue is the HHS mandate that contraceptives, abortifacients and sterilizations be paid for by employers so that women who seek these dangerous and deadly procedures will not have to suffer a co-pay.

The edict makes religious institutions and individuals responsible participants in the mass murder of millions of unborn children through procured abortion. Naturally, people of faith are in rebellion and ate refusing to comply with the law, preferring to pay a fine to Caesar than commit sin against God and deny the fundamental human right to life.

In March of 2012, the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops made clear to the Obama administration that its HHS edict was both "unjust and illegal" and that it violated the religious freedom guaranteed under the First Amendment. The case is on its way to the U.S. Supreme Court.

However, a ruling on the matter will not be issued until next summer at best, so in the meantime religious employers and individuals are expected to start paying or face a stiff penalty. Those penalties are so severe, they will force many small employers out of business.

 is ironic that Obamacare seeks to make deadly chemicals and procedures available free of charge, yet people will still have to pay for lifesaving procedures and medication. It demonstrates the infiltration of Satan into our governing process and the twisted thinking that goes on in the halls of the White House and Congress.

"People of faith cannot be made second-class citizens. We are already joined by our brothers and sisters of all faiths and many others of good will in this important effort to regain our religious freedom. Our parents and grandparents did not come to these shores to help build America's cities and towns, its infrastructure and institutions, its enterprise and culture, only to have their posterity stripped of their God-given rights," the bishops wrote in their letter.

Many Americans like certain provisions of Obamacare, such as the requirement that preexisting conditions be covered and that certain standards of care are maintained. However, they object to being compelled to consume health insurance against their choice (or face a penalty), and they most vehemently object to being compelled to pay for the dangerous procedures that some women choose to undergo because they have been severely influenced by the corruption of our culture.

Obamacare can be tolerated, but onerous provisions such as the individual mandate and the HHS edict must go. Not just because those policies raise the price of coverage and compel consumption (the government manipulates prices all the time), but because those policies smack of coercion and undermine the very principles our nation was founded upon.

Meanwhile, Bishops Loverde and DiLorenzo have made clear they intend to engage in civil disobedience - to the Obama regime. What will become of them and their resistance remains to be witnessed. their heroism is to be applauded. They set an example we should all be prepared to follow.

The bishops say this, but they will comply with the law.  I'd be willing to bet that his diocese is already complying with the law with regards to their lay (and probably mostly non-Catholic) employees.

And why was St. Maximilian Kolbe murdered by the nαzιs with lethal injection, asshole? Was he a Marxist Jєω?

Why were millions of Polish and Russian women raped by German soldiers, without repercussions?

Why were millions of Poles and Slavs brutally murdered by nαzι soldiers?

Don't forget that Titus Brandsma was also arrested and murdered by the nαzιs when he at teh bequest of Archbishop Jong went to the different Catholic publishers and explained the Churches opposition to them printing propaganda that originated in the nαzιs.

Poche is right.  There were a lot of heroic bishops in the pre-Vatican II days.

But then again, a lot of the revolutionaries who turned the church upside down in Vatican II were, you got it, pre-Vatican II bishops.  

It has been said that several of the Bishops in Ireland are in the Masonic Lodge. It has been suggested the Bishop Emeritus of Cloyne John Magee and the Archbishop of Dublin are in the lodge. Speculation of course.

Bishop Magee would be well aware of who murdered Pope John Paul I.

The hierarchy in Ireland are to a degree in the pocket of the enemy.

I guess we have to just wait and see who does what.
I remember a while back, the board of directors at st. Joseph's in phoenix, Arizona apporoved a "therapeutic abortion" and the bishop of phoenix declared the entire board excommunicated and denied the "catholic" stamp to the hospital and ordered all catholic resources pulled from the hospital immediately.
The reason I remember is because my not at all catholic sisters couldn't believe that a catholic hospital would allow an abortion, let alone actually participate in aiding and abetting one! Even in their very protestant minds, they still felt the bishop, olmsted, I think, did the right thing. If he had the power to, he would have shut them down entirely. As it stands, very few women choose to have dealings with the hospital at all now. Their maternity and nicu wards have almost no funding anymore. No one wants to put their money into the maternity ward of a hospital that kills babies. They go to "approved" hospitals instead.

The same thing will happen with bad bishops. The good ones won't back down, the bad ones will wear the rainbow sash. We just really need bishops that will excommunicate bad priests. It's a lot more difficult to dispose a bishop than it is to depose a priest, so he'd have a leg to stand on. If we can get an archbishop who's faithful, we would be even more successful.  But good, orthodox priests are hard to find, not to mention the egos of ambitious bishops gumming up the works.  
We should just keep looking out, and encouraging bishops to be faithful servants.
