This is true. May I add: There were letters in the local paper from a trad Catholic trying to alert these people to how it was likely this fire was deliberate and with the intention of leveling this venerable, traditional church in order to replace it with a Vat II monstrosity. The people here are often/mostly? of very Polish/German descent, whose Catholic forebears left the Old World to settle in Minnesota's wilds, mainly as heroic farmers. As soon as they could do so, they built permanent churches. And they did not spare on the best they could do - these churches, some "in the middle of nowhere" - are absolute Jєωels of Catholicity and devotion. Some have stained-glass windows that any church, anywhere, could be proud of and few could emulate. Other than the "table" in the sanctuary, these churches remain untouched. They are, unfortunately, in the hands of the Novus Ordo - but because they are so Catholic they still remain offensive to the Modernists, and also are sources of the people remaining often conservative or too in touch with their traditions. Minnesota is a hotbed for the Conspiracy - the headquarters of the Communist Party USA is there, and who of us "old folks" don't remember all the obnoxious Novus Ordo booklets and music and art coming out of St. John's in Minnesota at the time the changes were taking place. Let us pray that this controversy leads at least a few, if not all, of these Novus Ordo people to opening their eyes and seeing what is behind the attack on their church -- that their permitting the Holy Mass to be robbed from them to begin with, has now led to the building being lit and now, possibly torn down. They don't assign lightweights to Minnesota - this Bishop Kettler is a real professional.
