Pointing out the evil of other organizations in order to distract attention away from one's own is not very wise.  I'm getting a little tired of the special pleading of neo-cons like Donahue and Weigel.  Ohhh...Ratzinger was too busy too notice!  Ohh...the Pope gets bad information!  Ohh...laicizing priests is so technical!  Weigel of course drops another one of his probably numberous heretical ideas floating around in that pea brain during one of his mindless essays saying that the Pope's authority is actually circuмscribed by the authority of bishops.  So while he is engaged in obfuscation and special pleading, he offends the faith in the process.  Nice work pal.
