Although I was somewhat aware of these principles, this article should help to remove any scruple for those wanting to participate in the 2024 election.

Right. Now you people have to figure out how to participate, since your votes will probably count for nothing.

True.  But I think we try to follow Church teaching wrt voting, and then let the chips fall where they may.

Then there’s this:

I can name 10+ other things that Trump is absolutely horrible on, but I think the principle of double effect can still be applied in this situation.

This article is 100% garbage.  This same guy would go on to accept Vatican II.  Because a single joker prior to Vatican II shamefully endorsed "lesser evil" (a scandal and a disgrace), idiot Trads who want to convince themselves it's OK to vote for Trump based on the deplorable priniciple of "lesser evil" will blithely engage in mortal sin, and continue to promote it.  At no point in this joker's "doctoral dissertation" did he actually explain or defend the principle, but merely stated it gatuitously.

I swear I've not seen a bigger bunch of morons than the sedevacantists who think that if they can find something written in the 1950s and before then it's correct.

You're also idiots if you think that your votes count, that all viable/major candidates are not under their control, and that the winner has not already been selected for you.  So you proceed to compromise Catholic moral principles for nothing.
