We should be precise in our terminology. The Church is and always has been anti-Jєωιѕн, not "anti-Semitic." As far as I know, the Church has never expressed any antipathy or acrimony against Arabs, Chaldeans, Maghrebis, or Maltese - all of whom are Semitic, and much more authentically Semitic than any αѕнкenαzι Jєω.
"Anti-Semitism" is a term and concept invented by Jєωs as a strawman, as it refers to a racial hatred of Jєωs that the Church has never endorsed, but which Jєωs libelously accuse her of endorsing. In that way, it's really no different from that another Jєωιѕн-invented strawman term "homophobia." The Church is no more "anti-Semitic" than it is "homophobic;" she is anti-Jєωιѕн and ant-Sodomite. The Jєωs seek to control the debate by controlling the language. Let's not cede an inch of ground to them on that score - let's keep our terms precise, let's call their false terms out for what they are; and let's cut their strawmen down to the ground before they've had a chance to make use of them.
