  • ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖ activists in Napa, a city of 75,000 in north-central California, are pressuring the local Rotary Club to rescind the appointment of a Catholic entrepreneur as grand marshal in the 4th of July parade.

Tim Busch reportedly donated $10,000 to support Proposition 8, the 2008 California ballot initiative that defined marriage as the union of a man and a woman.

“We choose people who are the backbone of Napa,” parade organizer Doris Gentry told the Napa Valley Register. “It’s the people who have invested their time and money and love and passion in this community-- people who have a belief in the future of Napa. That’s what Tim Busch has done.”

“People were laughing at him when he bought that land in the industrial part of town, in an area everyone said was the ugliest part of Napa,” she added. “And yet, here’s a guy who had vision and gumption and belief in our community. A guy who thought ‘I can take this ugly piece of land and make it a world-class resort that people will come to from all over the planet’. How can that guy not be the person you want to celebrate and trumpet in this community?”

  • He's not Catholic if he's in the Rotary Club.

He may not be as good a Catholic as he should, but then just for the fact that he is a Catholic who upholds the traditional Catholic teaching on what marrige is is the cause of his persecution.

  • The real prize is the fact that gαy activists are opposing him.

I would take the "letter of protest" and hang it on my wall if it were me.

He is also successful in politics- Prop. 8 easily passed in California until a sodomite judge struck it down.

  • I know nothing about the Rotary Club.  Why can't Catholics belong to it?
Stir up within Thy Church, we beseech Thee, O Lord, the Spirit with which blessed Josaphat, Thy Martyr and Bishop, was filled, when he laid down his life for his sheep: so that, through his intercession, we too may be moved and strengthen by the same Spir

It is likely a Masonic organization but with a happy face in front.  The Rotarians talk of being do-gooders but without Our Lord.  A person who does good, merely for the sake of doing good, is a vainglorious person.  As you know, we love our neighbor for the love of Our Lord.

That is the problem many if these judges lawyers and politicians are sodomites and pedophile perverts      After I talked to at the time Catholic Governor.   He told me to call up to head of human resources for the state.   That guy was rude obnoxious
Sodomite the kind who hate women.   He gave me a deadend job
At that time I took the job because I needed it.  So a long time ago I realized that these perverts are controlling our government.

We have zero representation.   Look at sodomy loving politicians who protested the March for marriage.

At least some novous ordo aren't afraid to try to defend the faith.
May God bless you and keep you

  • I agree.
SO many so called traditional catholics would rather lived cloistered!

Our Lord ministered to thieves, whores, tax collectors, and wicked men!!

To say we cannot and must not work for non believers for a common good, and also attempt to help them in their faith is no Christian like, to me.

But carry on as you will.

  • With these churches closing down we should be reaching out by inviting people to Mass and handing out old bulletins.

A lot of Catholics in our area are knights of Columbus and members of the elks or moose lodge.
And many belong to Masonic lodges.

We have a friend who is a retired detective with prosecutors office.  And used to belong.
It upset me.  Then I told him why he shouldn't be one.

May God bless you and keep you
