  • Beautiful.  How lovely to see the young ladies of Our Lady's Sodality all in white, and all those Catholic nurses in uniform.  I believe that is Father Patrick Peyton directly behind the statue of Our Lady.
Reminds me of the Hamilton Ontario football stadium packed for the Crowning of Mary in the late 50's.
Tried to thumbs up your post but I guess I've reached the allowable percentage.

  • Looks so full of respect and order. Awe inspiring. I wonder what the crime rate was then? Probably as low as it can get. Just a coincidence, but last night I had a terrible nightmare that two thugs were hiding in the back seat of my car in Regina. and eventually stole it along with my wallet and cell. Funny but not funny. Here in the Eastern part it was infested with Freema sons. The neoSspx chapel is actually a former mason hall...it had no windows. MASONS actual drove the Grey nuns away from Rocanville about 80 years ago. The nuns offered to build a hospital but were denied. They then went to Esterhazy, north a bit, and built there...Hungarian territory. Later I can post a picture of a large stone church built  by 3 ?  brothers in a very short time. Unbelievable!
Now crime in Regina is rampant. One of the worst in our great country. And the Sask. gob'ment offers this:
    "...Drugs
If you're eligible for supplementary health coverage, one of the following plans may apply to you:
All Plans Individuals under 18 will receive benefit prescriptions for free. This option covers: insulin, oral medication for diabetes, and birth control pills.
Plan One If you're an adult, you pay no more than $2 for each"
