  • Americanism...

    What is it..

Why is it condsidered , a "Heresy"

Was it because of Pope LeoXIII, s displeasure of separation of Church and State ?

Is it considered a sin of  Heresy to have the American Flag in the Sanctuary ?

Do other European Nations have their nations flag in their Sanctuary s . ?

Is it (Americanism), being  accepted or repudiated  in todays Traditional Catholic world. ? Which groups do and which do not ?

Just a few questions I think for an interesting discussion.  .....

I'm not an expert but I believe it closely correlates with V2 in the Freedom of religion and religious liberty vein.  Also, I forget the technical name of the heresy where one believes he is the source of his own grace, where he pulls himself up by his bootstraps and does everything by his own determined will like Daniel Boone or something.  I hope someone can elaborate and express this better than I have.

I have never said aught against Thee. Nor do I persist stubbornly in my views. If I have ever expressed myself erroneously on this Sacrament, I submit to the judgement of the Holy Roman Church, in obedience of which I now part from this world." The Catholic charity is very refreshing.  Thank you for that Neil.

You're supposed to wait a minute before you presume a post isn't going to be modified, lest you become known for what you are, a "hip-shooter."

He does confess he is not an expert.  Hopefully, he will show the same humility in the BOD topic, which he does not really comprehend.

Cutting and pasting from sedevacatists sites only tells you so much. The information is restricted to what fits the propaganda.
If anyone says that true and natural water is not necessary for baptism and thus twists into some metaphor the words of our Lord Jesus Christ" Unless a man be born again of water and the Holy Spirit" (Jn 3:5) let him be anathema.

    Ready ............. Set .................. GO!

    Quote from: Director

    Americanism...

    What is it..

Why is it considered a "Heresy?"

That's a great question.  Take a poll of Catholics in the wild, and you'll find that only a rare sliver, at or above the 99th %ile, even know what you're talking about.

    Quote
Was it because of Pope LeoXIII's displeasure of separation of Church and State?

Another good question! You're on a roll!  It wasn't just venerable Leo's displeasure.  It is the logical consequence of any faithful Catholic theologian to condemn the very things he did in his encyclical addressed to America (including but not limited to Catholics therein).

Even today, you can hear the disdainful voices of hardened cold hearts saying that the Pope has no business crossing the Atlantic Ocean just to tell America 'what's up' with whatever-it-is that's on his mind lately.

    Quote
Is it considered a sin of Heresy to have the American Flag in the Sanctuary?

Rack 'em up, dude!  It's not so much anything improper to have your nation's flag in the sanctuary, but it really ought to be BLESSED FIRST (in case the holy water melts it, for example!  HAHAHAHA)

But seriously, what is a rather conspicuous affront to all justice is that the flag version that is usually chosen is the Maritime (military) American Flag, which has a golden fringe all around it.  That means that the proceedings taking place are under the jurisdiction of a maritime court, actually.  Look it up in the law code books.  Now, answer this:  Is the Mass EVER PROPERLY under any secular jurisdiction whatsoever?

In case you missed it, I recently got a fair dinkum raking for suggesting that "Mass Rocks" could be misunderstood by no small demographic.  The unjust and demonic imposition of secular authority upon clergy and the Church in Britain and in Japan (among other conspicuous examples) is nothing short of a satanic scourge (words of venerable Pius XI) on this planet Earth on which we live.

(We are unable to live outside of our dear Earth BTW.)

And, by extension, is the Church subservient to the current whims of any Admiral or Admiralty Court, based on rules which can be changed capriciously by Freemasons and/or satanists currently within the Federal Government?
(If you doubt that there are any such, just try to answer why no one in the Oklahoma government dares to answer the questions of why is there going to be a statue of Baphomet installed at the courthouse and a black mass conducted at the Civic Center.)

    Quote
Do other European Nations have their nation's flag in their Sanctuaries?

That might just depend on how infested they are with Masonry and/or satanism.  But other than that, there is nothing amiss with recognizing that your country is SUBJECT TO THE ROMAN PONTIFF, for example, by having the Papal Flag on the right side, and not the national flag!

    Quote
Is it (Americanism) being  accepted or repudiated  in today's Traditional Catholic world?

The first thing has to be informed Catholics.  One cannot decide which battle to fight or which side to be on if one is uninformed.  This includes the battle for DISinformation, because all WAR is a fight for knowledge and the most effective offense is to confuse the enemy or to keep him ignorant of the danger he faces.

The second thing is loyalty to God.  In the end, this takes the place of the first thing, because we have to always put God first.  But, notice, that is a matter of information.  See "first thing," above.

    Quote
Which groups do and which do not?

Just a few questions I think for an interesting discussion.  .....

Great question.  At this point, due to the already-seething antipathy evoked when I have expressed myself in the past around here, I will defer to your sense of paying attention (to the above) and to your ability to T-H-I-N-K.

Okay ................. your turn ................. and please ..................
try to first comprehend that last sentence if you would be so kind..................

Correct.  She is found of personal attacks as her knowledge on the topics is sorely lacking.
