So, are you accusing him of being a racist of German origin, or being racist against Germans? Your phrasing would actually refer to the former, not the latter.

Germany is no plague of mankind. Though the Germanic homeland was the birth of many errors, it is not a plague. Human frailty is the problem, one that afflicts all humanity.

Heresy is a plague. The lack of charity is a plague. This is why we must turn to Holy Mother Church, to avoid the pitfalls of the devil.

Since this thread has devolved into a slugfest of ad-hominems, it serves no further purpose.

It had promise in the beginning, and the topic is not automatically forbidden, but I won't have people taking it to a personal level and slandering each other.

That is a sign of a petty mind as well as a lot of ignorance. A wise or well-informed person would lay out the doctrine, the boundaries to each side, the extremes to avoid, and explain the nuances of what the Catholic position should be. In short, they would philosophize and discuss the issue in the abstract, talking in the realm of ideas rather than attacking this or that person individually.
