I agree in part. It seems like the East and West have been programming a narrative around this subject for some time.

Is it possible that errors other than Vatican II (which was of course the most devastating) were referenced by Our Lady?

Anything is possible, since we don't have the actual Third Secret, but I'm inclined to believe that the "errors of Russia" was an oblique reference to Vatican II more than anything else, but perhaps also the societal damage caused not only by Communism, but by the Jєωιѕн conspiracy, as Communism was just one flank of the Jєωιѕн attack.  They found other ways to corrupt the West short.  Sister Lucia stated the the contents of the Third Secret would become clearer in 1960, and we all know what happened around then through the machinations of Komrad Nikita Roncalli.

While the narrative about this book sounds like the typical fiction you'll see on various sites, the alien deception agenda is by no means primarily a Russian error, as Wernher von Braun was telling colleagues about the plan, and the Western entertainment industry has been programming people about aliens since about the time of WW2.

Lad weighs in with an unsubtle defense of Russia. There are reports that Hitler and other nαzιs considered whether an alien invasion might unite humanity and help usher in socialism everywhere. It's likely that whatever they were working on (Die Glocke, foo fighters, etc.) fell into the hands of both the Allies and the Soviets.

Purportedly the Soviets attempted this at Roswell, but the official story or alternative theories are largely promoted instead (aliens, weather balloon). The JFK assassination has some similarities with a Soviet provocation downplayed to avoid the need for a military response.

What Our Lady meant by the errors of Russia was none other than Vatican II, as the infiltration of the Church was orchestrated by Communist infiltrators into the hierarchy when they rolled out Komrad Roncalli.

Isn't this convenient? She didn't mean to reference Russia and its protege China as the criminal capitals of the world, to the present day? These countries which attempted to overturn religion everywhere and install brutal authoritarian state secularism? We can safely disregard the Soviet institutions because Vatican II was always the problem.

On the contrary, the big picture includes the Soviet Union, modern Russia, Vatican II and the ongoing infiltration and subversion of the whole world by Communists.

I agree that the Western entertainment industry has been programming people about aliens since WW2.

Some may falsely believe that Hollywood is owned by the Russians and Putin, but in reality Hollywood is owned by the Tribe, and has been since its beginning. What they (Hollywood and its accompanying players) mostly care about, IMO, is getting the West to fall into depravity, and to also make a lot of money while doing so, which isn't specifically Communist. It's also тαℓмυdic.
