Youth Synod final doc: Montini’s gift to the LGBT cause
    .
    .
When I saw Louie Verrecchio's picture of Paul VI at the head of this article, I immediately said, "Those hands don't belong to Paul VI."
    .

    .
    .
I knew whose hands they were, though. Those are the hands of a virtuoso pianist, and I know what his name is....
    .
Curiously, these are two different photographs, using the same pose, clothing and ornaments (rings, etc.).
    .
But if you look closely, you'll see the angle is slightly different, the hands are in a different position, various flashes of light from the many reflective surfaces are not the same, and even the white bow tie's tails are in just a bit of a changed alignment with the coat behind it.
    .
So this was likely two frames out of a moving series of frames, perhaps taken out of a movie or advertisement.
    .
    Still, they are extremely close.
    .
Notice too, how the facial skin tone below matches the hands, whereas that above does not.

Some would have people believe that I'm a deceiver because I've used various handles on different Catholic forums. They only know this because I've always offered such information, unprompted. Various troll accounts on FE. Ben on SuscipeDomine. Patches on ABLF 1.0 and TeDeum. GuitarPlucker, Busillis, HatchC, and Rum on Cathinfo.

Okay, I took your advice and found the same photo! Thanks!

Notice you can see a slight darkening of the deep violet background where they removed part of Liberace's head.
Fading in the color to patch the hole left a deep violet shadow there.

    Some trivia on the man:
    .
    • Liberace was born on 16 May 1919, in West Allis, Wisconsin. His father, Salvatore Liberace, had emigrated from Italy while his mother, Frances Zuchowska, was from Poland. Salvatore was a French horn playing musician cuм factory labourer.
      .
    • Liberace was a child prodigy and began playing the piano at age four. His father took him and his siblings to various concerts, encouraging them to perform better in classical music. By the age of seven, he could play complicated notes.
      .
    • Although he was a musical genius, he suffered from speech problems as a child. He was also effeminate, enjoyed cooking instead of sports, and was thus often ridiculed by other children.
      .
    • At the age of 14, he began training under the guidance of pianist Florence Bettray Kelly. In his teen years, he was able to earn some income by playing popular music in theatres, clubs, weddings, and night clubs.
    .
He attended the Wisconsin College of Music on scholarship. In 1939, he performed the popular tune ‘Three Little Fishes’ in a semi-classical style which was very well received by his audience. It soon became his trademark style. Later in 1940, he played with the Chicago Symphony.
    .
Liberace was a conservative, capitalist, and dedicated Catholic. He adored royalty and grandeur, and loved to socialize with the rich people.
    .
    • Skipping the radio medium for lack of visual appeal, he tried his luck next in television. His first breakthrough show happened in 1952 when ‘The Liberace Show’ premiered in Los Angeles and was subsequently aired nationally. The show was a huge success and became immensely popular with female television audience.
    • .
    • In 1954, he set a record by earning $138,000 for a single performance at Madison Square, New York City. By the following year, he had become a megastar earning exceptionally well and having millions of fans. The sudden increase in wealth made him embark on an extravagant lifestyle and he built a huge piano themed house fit for his stature.
    .
    • He continued to appear in television series. In ‘Batman’ (1966), he played the double role of a concert pianist and his gangster twin. Later on, he appeared as himself in episodes of ‘Here's Lucy’ (1970), ‘Kojak’ (1978 ) and ‘The Muppet Show’ (1978 ).
      .
    • In the 1970s and 80s, his live shows in Las Vegas continued to be huge commercial success. With more exotic costumes and flamboyant stage setups, he earned up to $300,000 a week.
    .
In 1977, he founded the ‘Liberace Foundation for the Performing and Creative Arts’ for providing scholarships to deserving but poor college musicians.
    • .
He was ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖ and was quite secretive about it in order to maintain his large female fan base.
    .
    • In August 1985, his private doctor detected him to be HIV positive. Only his family and close associates were made aware of his medical condition. For the rest of the world, it remained a secret till his death.
      .
    • On 4 February 1987, he died of pneumonia resulting from AIDS, at his home in Palm Springs, California.
      .
    • At the time of his death, his net worth was over $110 million. He left most of his property to his foundation. His museum was shut down in 2010 owing to recession.

  • When I was a young girl, we loved to watch the flamboyant, happy-faced, great  Liberace .

Help of Christians, guard our land from assault or inward stain,
Let it be what God has planned, His new Eden where You reign.

Yes, he was a happy guy.  He probably put the "gαy" in gαy.

He denied being ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖ, but the guy broke (i.e., completely melted) the gαydar ... and died of AIDS.  He never admitted being gαy while alive, but several of his gαy "lovers" came out after his death, and they too died of AIDS.  He even sued a newspaper, and won, for libel for having implied that he was gαy.
