ADL calls on Congress to impose "hate speech" censorship

DAILYKENN.com -- Antisemitism is proliferating on social media, according to Jonathan Greenblatt. Greenblatt, who heads the Anti Defamation League (ADL), wants Congress to step in. Social media giants, apparently, aren't doing enough.
According to The Times of Israel, Greenblatt addressed the House Committee on Homeland Security.
“It’s long overdue for the social media companies to step up and shut down the neo-nαzιs on their platforms,” Greenblatt told the legislators. “Companies like Twitter and Facebook need to apply the same energy to protecting vulnerable users that they apply to protecting their corporate profits."
“If they won’t answer the problem,” he added, “you probably need to.” [size={defaultattr}][font={defaultattr}]

Is censorship not fascist?
Granted, it is illogical and immoral to hate people due to immutable characteristics such as race. It is also immoral to adopt fascist-like censorship policies that adopt vague abstracts such as "hate speech." Making matters worse, such polices discriminate by default against groups that are not earmarked.
What is hate speech?
Greenblatt lumps patriot groups, such as Oath Keepers and Three Percenters in a board category of "far-right extremist & militia groups."

• Some believe the Confederate flag is an expression of antisemitism, even though the Sec of State of the Confederacy, Judah Benjamin, was a Jєω. One could make the argument, then, that vilifying the Confederacy is antisemitism.
• Some believe the American flag is an expression of hate speech. The next thing you know, professional athletes may begin kneeling to protest the "racist" National Anthem. Where will it end? Could the monuments to Kate Smith be removed due to some vague lyrics that, according to social engineers, implied racist sentiments? That, of course, would never happen.
Why the laser focus on anti-Jєω?

Why no concern for anti-white male hate?

• The summation: Free speech trumps censorship disguised as a ban on hate. The far left is using hate speech as a pretext to control our words and our thoughts.
