I don’t live IN NYC anymore, but within driving distance. I used to live there, was born and raised there. I’ve never been Jєωιѕн, that I know of!

The word "Jew" presents many problems.  What is a Jew?  They have no priesthood, no sacrifice, no Temple. They barely have a homeland which they call Israel - which, by the way, is ever expanding.  Does the color of their skin make them Jews?  Is it the elongated snout?  Have you looked at some of the Italian snouts?  Their set of laws is very loosely organized, and you would hardly get two "Jews" to agree.

People have actually sought Israeli citizenship, only to be denied, and their plea is, "Who are you to say I am not a Jew?"  The real Jews under the New Testament are Catholics, the Chosen People if you will. New York City used to be called "Jew York City," but I doubt living in New York makes me a Jew.

I would just like someone in this thread to tell me what a Jew is. If you have an "I am a Jew" identification post it up; I would like to see it.
To muddle definitions, to commit pilpul and obfuscate what is and was, you turn everything into a ephemeral chaos. That's what they want because then anything can be everything and the foundations of identity, culture and meaning is lost to whatever they want it to be.
