  • Ah yes it is not too surprising that Hollywood filth supports abortion.

One can look at films such as "Cider House Rules" where Michael Caine is a doctor who performs illegal abortions (the book however is much, much worse than the movie), one can look at "Dirty Dancing" with that abortion scene, or all of the TV shows where pro-life folks are those who are always evil and violent while those who support abortion are always the good "old freedom fighters." Ah yes what can I say, the greatness of Hollywood right?

And yet there are some who still claim America is the "greatest country."

One should also note that the first country to legalize abortions was the Soviet Union.

  • Its becoming more and more clear to me that without God at the forefront of what we do as a society, we're doomed. I used to struggle with wondering why any nation would so greatly support such atrocities. Your depiction of the vile and inhuman filth of of the depictions of abortion portrayed in our times is a good example of why. I was flipping through my Roku yesterday and saw a movie on this very subject; I didn't watch it, but was reading the description. It was supposed to be about a girl who was trying to have an illegal abortion somewhere in Europe (Belgium?). Sickening. Surely the times we live in are a great test God has given his people. I take a strange solace in knowing the outcome, predicated on by our choices in this life, is not complex: We will either pass, or fail.

  • Ironically it goes back to Marxism, which sees the dissolution of nations only possible with the dying of the people of the nation, which is why abortion is supported. It also comes from liberalism which is all about giving more freedom to women. It is not surprising feminism comes from liberalism and Marxism (and feminism comes from the Jєωιѕн and Marxist Frankfurt School and Jєωιѕн women as well) and since we've allowed feminism in our society, it has become more decadent, with millions of children dead by abortion, lesbianism, women in combat, women taking the jobs of men in the workplace, etc.

Our society became great because of Christianity. Our society has now come in need of an exorcist.

  • Films even without abortion glamorize a woman living a life without children.  How many films are there show what should be the norm of a woman in her 50s - mother of 13 having dinner with her children - including adult children, grandchildren and extended family? Or a woman in her 20s  having a birthday party for one of her 4 children with her 15 nieces and nephews attending?

American society did not become great by Christianity, as it is anti-Christian in its very essence, nor did it become great in fact.  It did, however, become powerful through a combination of violent imperialism and vast natural resources.

  • The people of the USA made it powerful, and they were religious people, though certainly only a minority have ever been Catholic.

  • I was at a graduation party yesterday and someone tried to talk to me about politics.  Liberals and conservatives, etc.  I said, I don't think that people even know what a liberal or a conservative is anymore.  I voted Ron Paul for every office, top to bottom in November, but now that I found out that he is a mason, I will have to write myself in next time.  He said, so would you say that you're middle of the road?  I said, absolutely not.  There are only two issues that politicians discuss, which I even think are worthy of discussion.  Those are war and abortion.  I'm pro-life and anti-war.  Since either side is diametrically opposed to my beliefs on one or the other issue, how can I in good conscience vote for either one?  After that I talked to him about traditional Catholicism for the rest of the night and everyone else stayed away from our conversation.  Still I don't mind the silent ridicule, if there's a chance that one soul could wake up because of it.
