  • His story has irked me for years. His life was saved by a Catholic nanny who had him baptized and yes she fought a custody battle when his parents sought to reclaim him after the war. But considering the line of anti-Catholic work he later went into (ADL), is that how he shows gratitude by attacking the very Church that provided the Baptism enabling him to pass as a Catholic, which saved his life?

I would love to say to Jєωs who hate the Church despite all the Catholics who rescued them, that maybe next time Christians won't rescue them if that's the thanks they get.

Am I wrong to feel irritated?

  • In the end he resented the nanny due to the custody battle.  Children even young as 5 will always want their biological parents including abusive ones.
May God bless you and keep you

Probably true. This reminds me somewhat of the Edgar Mortara case. In that case however, the child wanted to stay Catholic and was grateful to be Catholic. He even became a priest. There is a book about the case too, published by Ignatius.

  • One of the best docuмentaries exposing Abe Foxman and the ADL and the weapon known as "Anti-Semitism"
Defamation (השמצה‎‎) is a 2009 docuмentary film by award-winning filmmaker Yoav Shamir. It examines antisemitism and, in particular, the way perceptions of antisemitism affect Israeli and U.S. politics. Defamation won Best Docuмentary Feature Film at the 2009 Asia Pacific Screen Awards.

Not necessarily, and I speak from experience (not me, but someone very close to me).

There are children who could never see one of their parents anymore, and wouldn't miss them one bit.  Again, I know what I'm talking about.
