DAILYKENN.com -- The Ku Klux Klan is not killing black people in Chicago. Guns are not killing black people in Chicago. Donald Trump is not killing black people in Chicago. Lynch mobs are not killing black people in Chicago.

So, who is killing black people in Chicago?

Black people are killing black people in Chicago. It's an ongoing trend that transcends generations and defies the commercial television imagery of middle-class, bourgeois black families.

    Easter weekend was no exception.

22 people were shot in Chicago during Easter weekend. Three of the victims died.

According to heyjackass.com there have been 32 shot and killed and another 93 wounded from gun fire this month alone (April to date). The total number of homicides for the first 13 days of April was 35. The year-to-date total is 122 shot and killed, 528 shot and wounded; 137 total homicides.

The coronavirus has had no apparent effect on black violence in the city. Rather, violence seems to be escalating as warmer temperatures encourage people to mingle outside their homes.

Do black lives matter? Apparently, not to far-left Democrats. Rather than correctly diagnosing the cause of black-on-black violence, the far-left pretends it is caused by past red-lining, guns, Donald Trump, and lynch mobs.
