I bet I heard this one back then.  I am thinking that he had read some of the books that we were reading back then.  I'll have to look up Bella Dodd's book to see when she wrote that.  It sounds like he may have heard of her story or others just like it. There were of course, people who knew what was going on.  We were learning back then, too.  This has all been planned for many years, centuries actually.
