    Father Jonathan Morris wasn’t feeling prideful after being spit on by two men near a gαy Pride Parade in New York City Sunday.

    “Walking down Broadway and 22nd St just now, I ran into gαy marriage parade.Two men walked by and spat on me. Oh well… I deserve worse,” Morris tweeted.

    Morris, who’s a frequent guest on Fox on religious and cultural issues, added that the two men don’t represent all the marchers.


    “The two men who spat on me are probably very good men caught up in excitement and past resentment. Most in that parade would not do that,” he added.

    The network, like all of cable news, covered the historic same-sex marriage ruling at length over the weekend. The fallout from the Supreme Court’s decision will solicit additional coverage this week.

    The face of Catholicism at Fox News gets spat on by two men at the NYC sodomite pride parade and seems to justify their acts, calling them "good men". He also played down the incident by saying, "Oh well, I deserve worse." First of all, Fr. Jonathan Morris is a regular in Manhattan and would easily have known the Lavender Mafia's parade would be passing this way at that time. Why bother crossing paths with this parade of perversion unless you're there to speak the truth, in which case you'd expect to be spat upon? Secondly, while a priest or any good Catholic would be expected by Our Lord to forgive such an act, is there a need to say they're probably "very good men" and then justify their act by making the excuse about "past resentment", as if the Church were deserving of persecution because of standing against ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖ acts? And finally, what does he mean by "I deserve worse"? Yes, we are all sinners and need to repent. But what's this guy talking about? Does he deserve worse treatment from sodomites? And if so, why? Wouldn't God rather than a pair of outlandish sodomites judge him? This is a very confusing "tweet" by a priest who many "conservatives" place their trust in to give them the straight dope on the Catholic view of current events. This "tweet" has probably left many of the robots who take their marching orders from the likes of Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity scratching their heads and wondering if the sodomite lifestyle isn't all that bad:

    • I agree.  Defending a priest is necessary.  If someone spits on them (the two ɧoɱosɛҳųαƖs) its a hate crime.

    They clearly spit on him because they hate Catholics.  Not all hate is equal?

    I live in Minneapolis, where said parade is a big thing, so I've heard about it more than enough times in the news and social media. Usually, people that are against sodomy go to those as protesters, shouting Holy Writ and making their position known.

    You are right.  His response was of a sodomite priest.   Father Morris's response is creepy and doesn't make sense.  
    They aren't "good men".  First of all, they aren't men.  They are demons who refuse to repent.

    There is a so called priest shortage and instead of giving extreme unctions or confessions they are big shots on tv who troll sodomite parades.

    • It amazing how these sodomites can easily get permits to block roads and waste law enforcement's time to perform publicly their filthy creepy show.

    If we were to get a permit for a rosary procession, it would be a hassle.

    Also, when sodomites and others protest, they pretty much can do whatever they want.

    If you are protesting Church closings or abortion mill, the law is quick to give one a hard time or even arrest people.

    • I remember reading some quote or anecdote about some saint who was punched, or something, and said something about how he deserved worse. I can't remember who it was, what actually happened, or what he actually said! Maybe someone else knows more?
