  • Fr. Fouhy is an interesting character...and unfortunately, he wa deceived and confused and made some bad choices. I believe he left the priesthood because of the changes and got married, then realized he made a mistake and left his wife and travelled about New Zealand carrying a cross as a penance. Poor guy, he really put himself through hell...
