After 40 years of daily mass attendance since I converted to the Catholic Church in 1975 I have left the Church at the Christmas inauguration of the year of mercy and no longer attend because of Jorge Bergoglio and his associates. It is not the Catholic Church I joined. It will only get worse unless the higher clergy act. I am not joining another church, but I cannot bear to sit in the pews and be a member of the Pope Francis church. I watch it from the outside now. I actually feel better not going to church than going to church, not being conditioned by the atmosphere of a parish which is influenced by him. Many events and statements in the two months since then have only confirmed being part of the Bergoglio church is an embarassment. The Apostolic Exhortation on the family coming in March will be a crowning event of destruction in the Catholic Church. I once saw a video of Bergoglio meeting with a small group of 4 communists in Casa San Marte discussing climate change, and Bergoglio was quoting Chou the Chinese communist in agreement with one of his sayings, and Bergoglio went on to say "some people won't like it." He knows very well he is cracking many eggs to make his new omelette, and the consternation we all feel is only so much necessary collateral damage to him and his "revolution of tenderness." It is a revolution of something, quite deliberate. My withdrawal makes no difference in the world, but it is a statement of my own that I do not agree with or follow this Church headed by this man. I do not mean to influence anyone else to leave the Church, and I know Lifesite does not approve of it, but for me this is my rejection of Jorge Mario Bergoglio and the new church he is building along with those other dissenters who have now managed to seize the levers of power in the Church. I say NO to them. Period.
