As if Mr. Ripperger is Magisterium? Ripperger is the guy who, in defiance of wise pre-V2 discipline, has dragged laity into participating in exorcism prayers. Such casual exorcism was deemed as extremely dangerous because of the risk of becoming possessed. For the safety of all involved, authentic authority/power must be granted by the Church. Authentic Orders as an Exorcist (capital "E") are necessary. At minimum authority from an authentic Bishop is mandatory. Mr. Ripperger did none of that.

:facepalm:  It's because in the 70s/80s you still had valid priests (i.e. ordained in the old rite) who were Indult.


Nowadays, 99% of Indult priests are new rite and thus, doubtful.
