Yes, of course, but human nature plays a big part in it because most people don’t see such faults as well in themselves as they do in others.

The foundational precept of the braying jackass faction: Only the most ignorant are qualified to speak with authority on any matter.

The corollary: A lifetime of study and deep knowledge of any and every matter automatically disqualifies one from stating truths about the matter.
