I had to stop watching that thing after some seconds or so...

May God have mercy on those [censored] for profaning the sacred memory of the Little Flower!

She would have never allowed her name to be used by such heretics in this way.

It just goes to show when heresy becomes plain brain damage.

    What's next?

Using St. Roch to advocate the "ordination" of dogs!?

Why not, right, 'cos it's man's best friend and certainly God loves dogs too? Besides, dogs cannot molest kids or have affairs with women and run away to become Episcopalian ministers like that Cutié guy who had a talk show.

This is not just lamentation upon the profanation of sacred faith and the revilement of the authority of Holy Mother Church, but also upon the stupidity of present-day man...

Indeed, the amplitude of human stupidity may never be underestimated...

Please ignore all that I have written regarding sedevacantism.

So many elements in that video display that they are not truly "Catholic", they truly have no clue what they are talking about, what it means to be Catholic.  Very sad.

  • Where to begin!?!?!??!?

First, the profanation of the Little Flower.. how about following her example of HUMILITY and become a nun?? Or if that is not what you are cut out for, how about striving for Sainthood!?!?

The "music".... AAAK!  Coupled with the bad voice, and the blasphemous Sign of the Cross dance moves, too short skirts on the girls..... would leave a comment on Youtube, but mine always get erased. Not mean comments, just pointing out he Truth.. hey, maybe SOMEONE sees them before they are erased!!
Our Lady of Fatima, ora pro nobis!!

PS.. don't forget the "excommunication and I'm glowing" line....

Going off to get the Brain Bleach.... will be back later !!!

    Love,
    +michaela

  • For heaven's sake, ladies, just BECOME Episcopalian.
Stir up within Thy Church, we beseech Thee, O Lord, the Spirit with which blessed Josaphat, Thy Martyr and Bishop, was filled, when he laid down his life for his sheep: so that, through his intercession, we too may be moved and strengthen by the same Spir

Well I wasn't quite as scandalized as other viewers, but... wait...   :barf:

Okay, I'm back.  I've seen some pretty wild stuff.  Get up to speed:
this is what your daughters are up against in so-called parochial
schools today.  It's here, baby.  Face the music.  They think they're
    being "creative."

When the first round of women activists were "organizing" their first
"liturgical" event in Los Angeles, I'm glad I wasn't there, but a friend of
mine was.  It was in St. Vibiana's Cathedral before Mahony tore it apart.

The troupe of egomaniacs was swishing and stomping all around the
aisles, arguing with each other as to who would be in charge of what
and how many different ways they could do their thing.  You can see
that in the video too.  Why would anyone want to be obedient or stay
in their place, when they can scratch their way to the top with fingernails
and cat claws?  Pulling hair?  Why not?  The end justifies the means.

That was 1992.  The cathedral was severely damaged by the 1994
Northridge earthquake and it was all downhill from there.  The women
could see the impudence of Mahony, and that gave them inspiration to
foist innovations into the liturgy, which they did with gusto.  Etc., etc.,
so this video is actually par for the course in these parts.  Surprise.

  • Some of the lyrics that really blew me away were,"Woman priest is my call, women preaching for all, DON"T LISTEN TO ST. PAUL, because I can lead the way." I was surprised she even address him as Saint! So a Saint of our Holy Faith who was converted by Our Lord Jesus Christ himself is one we shouldn't listen to...unbelievable!

He came to pay a debt He didn't owe.
Because we owe a debt we cannot pay.

Thanks for pointing out the fine print.  I had to go looking for that.
It's on the video itself, at the very end where they have the credits.
It says, "Many thanks to ... the parish of St. Thomas' Episcopal Church
    and all WOC members."

WOC is an acronym for Women's Ordination Conference.
    www.womensordination.org

In two shots, the chasuble-woman is holding a child, who's wearing a
sweater that has "Mommy for Pope" on the front in bright letters.

The words of Our Lord come to mind (hey, she doesn't like what St. Paul
has to say, maybe Jesus is next??):

"For from the heart come forth evil thoughts, murders, adulteries,
fornications, thefts, false testimonies, blasphemies.  These are the
    things that defile a man"
    (Matt. xv. 19-20).

"Whosoever shall humble himself as this little child, he is the greater
in the kingdom of heaven... But he that shall scandalize one of these
little ones that believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone
should be hanged about his neck, and that he should be drowned in
the depth of the sea.  Woe to the world because of scandals.  For it
must needs be that scandals come:  but nevertheless woe to that
man by whom the scandal cometh"
    (Matt. xviii. 4-7).

One time some years ago I was trying to show a modernist cleric that
innovations in the liturgy were not a good idea, using Scripture.  And
his reply to me was, that Jesus, when He hung on the Cross, He knew
that there would be those in the future who would reject Him, but
that didn't stop Him from dying for our sins.  He did it anyway.

Some people are just impossible to teach.  At some point, knowledge is
    a dangerous thing.

When JPII gave his 'definitive statement' that women cannot be ordained,
it had all the marks of infallibility, except one:  he did not have any words
of condemnation for anyone who does not accept this teaching.  No
    anathema sit.
There have been knowledgeable people who have
claimed that this was a statement protected by papal infallibility.  But
years later, when asked about it, then Cardinal Ratzinger said that it was
not infallible because JPII had not intended it to be infallible.  From that,
I take it that the absence of the anathema was one and the same
thing as his lack of intention for infallibility.  Because if there had been an
anathema attached, Ratzinger would not have been able to say later that
the Pope did not intend it to be infallible.

But it really doesn't matter whether that was infallible or not, because it
is firmly established in the history of the Church that women are not valid
matter for Holy Orders, so even if a woman were 'ordained,' it would be an
invalid ordination.  So the next time someone taps you on the shoulder
and says, "Oh, look!  A woman priest!"  You can reply with full confidence,
"That may be a woman, but she isn't a priest.  She may be dressed like
a priest, but she doesn't have valid ordination."

  • YEAH! Another great post, Neil Obstat!
And that goes for nuns without habits, too! A personal rule that I was taught.. " No habit, no nun!" :really-mad2:

Again, another great post. You are really smart, Mr. Obstat, I enjoy reading what you have to say.  :reading:

Thank you for explaining things for people like me-self that are "theologically impaired!"  I get the milk, you get the meat!!  :laugh1:

  • Why weren't we warned that the music of this song exists with different lyrics?  I just had the misfortune of hearing the tune at physical therapy.  I don't know what the original lyrics are because all I could hear in my head was, as Alex 117 calls, the gut wrenching ones I heard on CI.  I'll probably be frightened to go back to PT on Thursday.

Sometimes ignorance is bliss. I could have happily lived out the rest of my life without hearing this song!  :barf: :barf: :barf:
