Why stay Catholic?

  • I wanted to ask: If the catholic church is becoming more worldly, why stay Catholic? Why should I not convert to orthodoxy, since they don't change things up and have still many otherworldly Saints like Saint Paisios and Fr. Seraphim Rose (soon to be saint) which are just different to those in our church?

  • Is the Catholic Church Catholic?

Fɾҽҽmαsσɳɾყ has taken over the Holy See. The pseudo church has connections to UUNN.  You dialogue with the devil.
May God bless you and keep you

  • Good Catholic education is crucial.  Read Pope St Pius X's LAMENTABILI SANE .
    (Condemned propositions)

...56. The Roman Church became the head of all the churches, not through the ordinance of Divine Providence, but merely through political conditions.

Very few like the Pope Leo XIV's actions, but nevertheless, Catholics are bound to pray for THE CHAIR of Peter...at the minimum, which the Orthodox won't admit. They are schismatics, on their way to hell. Catholic Church is divinely founded [through the Ordinance of Divine Providence] on the R O C K (Pierre , Peter means Rock.) of St Peter, and won't totally collapse, as per Jesus: pray for a greater faith. Many are suffering because of Vatican II.
    God bless+

Because we love our faith. The infiltration of the Church with the Church's enemies does not change that.

But I care more about finding the One true chruch. Bc this is not for my personal favor but for my salvation and future. So I could just convert in your eyes?

What originally drew you to the Catholic Church, kastoast?
If only it were all so simple! If only there were evil people somewhere insidiously committing evil deeds, and it were necessary only to separate them from the rest of us and destroy them. But the line dividing good and evil cuts through the heart of every human being. And who is willing to destroy a piece of his own heart?

The Catholic Church isn't becoming more worldly, infiltrators that have attacked the truth have made it seem that way. I probably wouldn't convert to Orthodoxy because they all go to Hell and I don't plan on going there, but do what thou wilt. Paisios and Saraphim were heretics and schismatics, and we all know where heretics and schismatics end up.

Thats the gαyest and most prideful thing ever. Stop trying to sound wise and think about your statement, sorry but thats just Pride. Even the church says otherwise. Bc of this pride, there were so many wars in the past between Christian brothers. Just unnecesary:facepalm:

It's prideful to think you know better than Christ and the Catholic Church which he founded and decide to join a church created by men.

You asked why not join the Orthodox church, I told you why and you got mad and called me prideful. That's not a good response, that's an Ad Hominem. You play stupid games, you win stupid prizes.

You asked why stay Catholic, you did not ask why should I become Catholic. Of course there is only one True Roman Catholic Church, outside of which there is no salvation. This is the reason to not only remain within it, but also to become a member of it.

IMO, it's good to see that you've taken on the responsibility of asking the hard questions for yourself, looking for the Truth instead of just floating along. Seek and you will find. And you'll value things all the more because of the effort.

If only it were all so simple! If only there were evil people somewhere insidiously committing evil deeds, and it were necessary only to separate them from the rest of us and destroy them. But the line dividing good and evil cuts through the heart of every human being. • The last thing the German Catholic mystic Alois Irlmaier said to his children before he died in 1959:

"Whatever you do during these times, stay Catholic'
"Some preachers will keep silence about the truth, and others will trample it underfoot and deny it. Sanctity of life will be held in derision even by those who outwardly profess it, for in those days Our Lord Jesus Christ will send them not a true Pastor but a destroyer."  St. Francis of Assisi

No it's prideful to think that you know if other people are going to hell or not. It's prideful to say everything outside of Catholicism is wrong. Mark9, 40 says "For he that is not against us is on our part" as well as not everyone who says they are a Christian really is one. So please lay down your pride, I want to say as humble as possible bc I myself am the most prideful. God bless you, keep searching for truth, Amen
