What can be so easily comprehended by some is almost impossible for others. Why?  Is it purely Gods grace, is it the state that our souls are in that determines the amount of truth?

I ask a protestant read the chapter of John ( I think #4)
Unless you eat my body and drink my blood you will NOT have eternal life.
They just dont get it or believe it.

I ask a novus order catholic.
How can the church for 2000yrs teach and believe one thing then in the last 50yrs make a 180 degree turn and be completly contrary?
They usually dont even know there is a problem.

My faith is weak cause I pray, we pray many pray for Gods wisdom and guidence and yet no clarity no truth seems to come about it. John Vianney was able to bring multitudes to his empty church.

Maybe we or rather I as a Catholic just dont possess the faith or the abillity to sacrifice as those who lived before us.

When my local priest answers my question on " How come father these two catechisms are so different?" ( The old and the new )

He simply grins at me and says " They hate each other!"
Why?

The reason why most people cannot even come to see the Truth is because they don't really care about the Truth. If the Truth is contrary to what they believe in, they no longer care and just give up. That's basically what bad will is: being able to see the truth but putting your hands over your eyes and pretending as if you can't see it.

If these people would just set aside their bad will they would easily be led to the truth. Because they are in darkness and refuse to resist the world, God allows them to stay in the darkness that they so love.
