Conspiring to do a flash mob scene protesting the Novus Ordo (NO) would only backfire as most likely the police would be called. NO Bishops here in the USA have almost unanimously forbidden the practice of receiving communion on the tongue or receiving communion while kneeling. For example, here in Los Angeles, the former Mahony has had diocesan-wide parish conferences which brainwashed NO Catholics into condemning kneeling as being prideful and disobedient.

Apostasy is at the heart of the problem. Yes, the faith is lost.

"Of course we know that the crisis in the Church is one of faith. For reasons that remain obscure, Catholics, en masse, have simply lost their faith. The saltiness has gone out of the salt. All these suggestions, all our activities, seem to me to be an attempt to restore salinity by pouring more good salt onto the savourless. The faithlessness of modern Catholics[13], for all that we can point to Vatican II and the deliberate orchestration of the de-Catholicisation of our liturgical lives, remains essentially a mystery. Why have Catholics become savourless salt?"

Unfortunately, most NO Catholics do not know why the faith has been lost. They have no clue that the NO Mass, that the new rites, and that the Docuмents of Vatican II are now insipid. However, the real root of the problem is much deeper. Something wicked has been brewing in Rome and in Europe for centuries. Remember the vision of Leo XIII, that Satan has been unleashed. Didn't Pius IX experienced diabolic persecution from the Freemasons in the mid 1800s? Before Pius IX, the French experienced martyrdom for Christ during the diabolic French Revolution spawned by Fɾҽҽmαsσɳɾყ. And centuries before this horrific event, St. Pius V was fighting for the souls of Catholics as Protestantism and the godless -isms started taking over Europe: First Protestantism, then Industrialism, Atheism, Marxism, nαzιsm, Communism, and now Secularism, which is the godless religion preached in all our public schools and universities.

The Important Monastic Personage (IMP) said: "We believe that the crisis of faith with which we are now dealing is not a fifty-year problem, but more like a seven-century problem when the Church began to neglect her contemplative stronghold in favor of external engagement with the world."

Seven-century problem? Like back to the 1300s? Was the IMP referring to the beginnings of secularism, atheism, and the diabolical evilness of worshiping the creature, man, rather than the Creator.

Could this spirit of anti-monasticism have lead to the beginnings of Protestantism, the Lutheran Reformation, and atheism? Perhaps this IMP has hit upon something as the Early Christians all lived a form of monasticism whether in the cloister or outside the monastic walls. The lack of a wall did not prevent these Christians from engaging in unceasing prayers as they tilled the farm or wove fabric on a loom. During those times, all stood and prayed the Angelus every six hours.

Take for example, St. Catherine of Siena  who was a member of the Third Order. Although she was a laywoman, she was fully clothed in the habit of St. Dominic, and she prayed the Divine Office in her home where laity had home altars and the rich had private chapels or oratories where they would pray. While today's Dominican Tertiaries would not dare wear the Dominican Habit, some Third Order sisters living outside a monastery in convents or in apartments do wear the habit, but others like the San Rafael Dominicans have largely abandoned the habit.
