  • I have never heard any kind of a complaint or reservation coming from E. Michael Jones about this current pontiff.

And yet, this is the man who wrote the Jєωιѕн Revolutionary Spirit.

It is not as though the man is dumb.  Jones is brilliant.

Yet, while a lot of folks like myself look at Pope Francis and likely see an anti-pope at worst, or a supreme subversive out to transform the Church into a spectacle at best...while I see all that, Jones will simply carry on as though there is no problem with this papacy.

Is he just avoiding the issue?  I know he's a busy man and has a lot of irons in the fire.  Perhaps he's just choosing his battles?

It does seem like a contradiction to be both anti-Jєωιѕн and pro-conciliar. Joe Sobran is one of the best anti-Jєωιѕн polemicists I've read and he was a conciliarist. It's possible to have correct views on Jєωs and belong to any camp claiming the Catholic mantle. It's also possible to spread error about Jєωs and belong to any camp. Doesn't make much sense, but there you go.

From the comments section of The Remnant:

    Quote
Michael Voris and his Philosophical Compatriot, E. Michael Jones of "Culture Wars" Magazine, are taking this SSPX Story of Schism from an Enemy of the SSPX, Opus Dei, the Precursor of Vatican II. Both men answer to a wealthy Opus Dei Numerary in South Bend, IN, who as a member of Opus Dei, is forbidden by that Order to publically criticizing The Pope.

Any idea who this benefactor is, or is this some troll spreading lies?
Some would have people believe that I'm a deceiver because I've used various handles on different Catholic forums. They only know this because I've always offered such information, unprompted. Various troll accounts on FE. Ben on SuscipeDomine. Patches on ABLF 1.0 and TeDeum. GuitarPlucker, Busillis, HatchC, and Rum on Cathinfo.

  • E. Michael Jones isn't on record as being a fan of Pope Francis either.

Maybe he's been busy.  He has a full time job and spends time writing about local issues.
