Not only does the Divine Mercy feast minimize Our Lord’s Sacred Heart, but it's weirdly repetitive. And it also minimizes Our Lady’s Immaculate Heart and Fatima, wherein She told Sr Lucy to pray the rosary and “Only I can help you”.
.
So we have Our Lord appearing in France, with His Sacred Heart, in opposition/warning of the French Revolution, which is the precursor to the communists.
.
But France waited too long, so He then sent His Mother at LaSallete, Knock and Fatima (meanwhile, around the time of LaSallete, He again appeared in His Holy Face in France to ask for reparation).
.
The repeated theme in all of theses is prayer, penance and reparation....or else, God will chastise the world.
.
But then the “Divine Mercy” comes along. No mention of chastisement, or reparation. No mention of confession, communions, masses. It’s all Protestant.
.
Then, worse upon worse, the Divine Mercy Sunday seems to REPLACE GOOD FRIDAY, because it’s setup/explained as this Uber-merciful day of the year. EASTER SEASON IS SUPPOSED TO BE A CELEBRATION OF CHRIST’s TRIUMPH! Yet we’re supposed to re-do Lent and re-think about Christ’s passion AFTER Easter Sunday? It’s weirdly anti-Catholic. It’s backwards in so many ways. It’s not consistent with Tradition at all.
