I think the most impressive group of sedevacantists I know of were the posters on Bellarmine forums. I think they did a pretty good job. Sadly, the owner keeps on shutting it down for some reason. I was more impressed by the sedevacantists on Bellarmine forums than the sedevacantists on Te Deum forums. I never joined Bellarmine forums though, I only lurked there.

Agreed.  The moderator was certainly exemplary.  He acted based upon his intellect and had his emotion under control.  His intellect was also far more formed than other moderators I have encountered.  It was a classy blog.  I really miss it.  And the posters were decent and amiable.

The credit to Te Deum is their computer friendliness.  You can do much more over there than is typical and do so easily.  We are talking SVs otherwise I would mention this forum which is the most popular among traditional Catholics as far as I know.

Dante's Inferno: Flatterers immersed in a river of excrement for eternity

Inferno Canto XVIII:100-136 The Second Chasm: The Flatterers

We had already come to where the narrow causeway crosses the second bank, and forms a buttress to a second arch. Here we heard people whining in the next chasm, and blowing with their muzzles, and striking themselves with their palms.

The banks were crusted, with a mould from the fumes below that condenses on them, and attacks the eyes and nose. The floor is so deep, that we could not see any part of it, except by climbing to the ridge of the arch, where the rock is highest. We came there, and from it, in the ditch below, I saw people immersed in excrement, that looked as if it flowed from human privies. And while I was searching it, down there, with my eyes, I saw one with a head so smeared with ordure, that it was not clear if he was clerk or layman.

He shouted at me: ‘Why are you so keen to gaze at me more than the other mired ones?’ And I to him: ‘Because, if I remember rightly, I have seen you before with dry head, and you are Alessio Interminei of Lucca: so I eye you more than all the others.’ And he then, beating his forehead: ‘The flatteries, of which my tongue never wearied, have brought me down to this!’

Hi Loys,

I ask most sincerely so I can have an idea of where you are coming from.  Is their any public traditional figure that you like and or approve of?

Maybe he just wanted to see how quickly he could get his reputation down to zero.   :laugh1:

Loys reminds me of John Loughnan or Anthony Malleus (of Ignis Ardens, but who was actually an SSPX priest).  These types get all excited about proving how bad other Catholics are and how every Catholic should believe exactly what he himself believes or else!!!

RE: Your Americanism

Get over your strength in numbers misconception. The One Catholic faith never has been popular with the unthinking masses. This fact is amplified in America where primarily the unsuccessful, uneducated lower classes from the Continent boated to en masse, to form the "pillars" of that uncultured territory by default.
