Why Arent Sedevacantists more impressive?

Dear TKGS and 2Vermont,

I made a mistake, and I'm sorry.  I came to improper conclusions hastily and that's always a problem.  

There was a member named irirfleo for a while and I know this because I exchanged some messages with him a few weeks ago.  But apparently when his account was deleted perhaps one or more posts were somehow changed to attribute the wrong username to them.  I wouldn't have thought that could happen but I guess it can.  Since the other account, LucasL, was banned about the same time that might have something to do with the corruption of the data, and it was not the doing of 2Vermont, I'm sure.

Please forgive me for my error.  Those things I said about sedevacantists were not true, and if I could delete them I would.  My bad.

Few people on CathInfo seem capable of admitting error.  You are shown, however, to be among the more noble on the forum.  I will have a greater appreciation for your commentary in the future.

Yes, dredging up an old thread I started. Yet my view hasn't changed. Sedevacantists seem about as likely to be Judaized as other groups who reject Vatican II. You'd think they'd be markedly superior to other groups in this regard (and others), and yet they don't appear to be.

I'd also think there would be an explanation for the crisis that didn't require more than a passing knowledge of Catholic theology. Would Christ organize things in such a way that only those who are versed in theology could make sense of what's going on? Typically those who can understand theology are educated, and yet if Christ was only trying to speak to the educated would he have spoken in parables?

Interesting that you have it completely backwards.  Sedevacantism actually does provide "an explanation for the crisis that [doesn't] require more that a passing knowledge of Catholic theology."

It is all the of the theories which posit the Catholic Church in a group of manifest heretics with its head being so obviously a heretic that requires theological machinations that make your head spin.
