Why Arent Sedevacantists more impressive?
« Reply #135 on: November 15, 2015, 08:19:58 AM »

Every once in a while I peek in on the fights and it helps squelch temptations to feel like I am missing anything. I gotta say though, I miss ggreg. I noticed he hasn't been around here in a long time. Not that I agree with everything (always have to add that disclaimer) but we need more of his general practical sense and humor. Glad he is still active over there.

I don't care that I was banned. I was curious as to why it wasn't announced, since that's normally the protocol.

But now the IP suddenly works. I tried lurking there multiple times over about a week period and a page came up indicating I was banned.

I speculate on running a bigger operation sometimes.  I toy with the idea, but honestly, I don't have the time.  Other interests, and whatnot.

Often, when I try to imagine running my own hangout place for you folks, I imagine myself being so laid back about it, that I might accidentally be unintentionally lax in important announcements.  (Such is my respect for you all to have your public say and discussions in a place that announces itself as a "discussion forum.")

From your blog post:

But if rum was in disagreement with the personalities of Te Deum, then why would he continue posting there?

I didn't, but it wasn't over reasonable disagreements. If you had read the thread you would know that I told Vox I won't be posting over there, and the reasons I gave were his constant baiting and general dishonesty, temp bans, locking threads and prematurely deleting threads with no explanation. I'm mature enough to argue with people who disagree with me. But I'm not masochistic enough to deal with being abused by a 50-year-old toddler who goes unchecked by the admin and the mods. If anyone with any Catholic sense were to read my posts over there I'd be surprised if they found anything that made me worthy of such attacks. He started thumbing up many posts of mine, for obvious reasons, during the time when LoverofTruth was criticizing him. That was the final straw. He's an embarrassment.

But he's got a lot of company on these forums. Maybe a majority.

Sorry we haven't entertained you.

What do you disagree with ggreg about?

Haha, no it isn't about entertainment. I have just had my fair share of scuffles. I get a knot in my stomach from them, whether they are my own or someone else's.

I have "known" ggreg through his posts for several years and perhaps he has a couple of views on business or money or trads with which I disagree. But he has many views on the same subjects with which I completely agree. The disclaimer was just a general one and not related to the post I read.

I doubt that Voxpop has that much support.  Consider this statement he made recently:
Quote
I think anyone who thinks CI is a good catholic forum is in danger. And Im not just speaking from my bias. Same goes for FE and SD...Tedeum would not tolerate one tenth of the nonsense these sites allow.

While nobody expressed disagreement with him, it is obvious from the number who post to other forums, that they do not agree.  Given the situation, it is hard to tell how much actual support he has on any given topic.  It may simply be a matter of people who do not want to be banned from TD.
