  • An interesting link to a quiz a friend of mine sent to me:

    http://www.syracuse.com/opinion/index.ssf/2013/12/is_pope_francis_a_marxist.html

I find it interesting because my friend is a rabid anti-sedevacantist.  I got 9 of 11 quotations correct.

  • I got 7 right, and I have never read any Karl Marx. With a few tweaks of the contemporary idioms, his and Francis' quotes could be almost identical.
Mother of God, pray for us sinners.

If you've read one Marxist, you've read 'em all.
"This principle is most certain: The non-Christian cannot in any way be Pope. The reason for this is that he cannot be head of what he is not a member. Now, he who is not a Christian is not a member of the Church, and a manifest heretic is not a Christian, as is clearly taught by St. Cyprian, St. Athanasius, St. Augustine, St. Jerome, and others. Therefore, the manifest heretic cannot be Pope." -- St. Robert Bellarmine
