Why would you think that +ABL agreed with the docuмents?
Probably not what you want to hear, but Archbishop Lefebvre did sign all 16 docuмents of Vatican II Council. He then changed his position several times throughout his life. In 1965 he accepted Vatican II. Later, in 1976, he wrote the book
I Accuse the Council stating that it should be rejected. Then, at the beginning of the 80's, he apparently signed a couple of letters assuring John Paul II that he would accept the Council
interpreted in the light of Tradition. Later on, he would deny this position and reject Vatican II once again.
