+ Williamson once said "Modesty is the guardian of purity" a point well made regarding our little ladies, and big girls too.
Many are not aware and oblivious and others should know better. Last evening a Catholic girl circulated a video of a tv show that had promoted lewdness and degeneracy. I refer to the Late Late show here in Ireland.
The girl that commented on it seemed oblivious it was an occasion of sin to share it nevermind watch it. It's always disappointing when Catholics, who should know better circulate such filth. I am inclined to believe it is ignorance as opposed to an uncatholic woman.
A columnist in the newspaper Catholic Voice is advocating a crusade for modesty here in Ireland. Hopefully many people will support it. I have always agreed with Bishop Williamson regarding women and indeed men. Decent women are few and far between. The lack of children will be the logical consequences.
In Ireland there are fewer children because of the contraceptive mentality not being addressed at all by the pro-life lobby. Perhaps one of two groups but few pay heed to them.
As Bishop Williamson stated in a previous EC it goes back to the home. If Catholic women or indeed men see nothing wrong with sharing videos about these trashy tv shows things will worsen. Apparently at the end of the show contraception was given to all the single men and women in the audience.
I would be recommended as many as possible get behind this modesty crusade and surely the 15 mysteries of the rosary daily. Some won't agree but throw away the television. There are plenty of activities you can do.
